Venkateswar Rice Mill

We have been running Venkateswar Rice Mill here in Babubandh for quite some time now. Being right on National Highway 53 means there is always a lot of traffic passing by, especially with the Reliance A1 Plaza being so close to us. It gets pretty dusty out here, but we are used to it. The mill itself stays busy most days when the harvest comes in. We spend a lot of our time just making sure the machinery is actually working like it is supposed to. Sometimes it breaks down, and that is just part of the job. Most of the folks who stop by are local farmers or drivers who need a bit of help with their loads. It is hard work, honestly. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just the main building where the grain gets processed. If you are driving down the highway, you can usually see the big gates from the road. My cousin helps me out with the books, though we aren't always great at keeping everything organized. We just try to get the rice moved out as fast as it comes in. It is loud inside the mill, so we end up shouting to hear each other most of the afternoon. Sometimes we sit outside by the entrance when things quiet down for a few minutes. That is about it for our life here at the mill. Nothing too exciting happens, we just keep the machines running.
