Sri Achutananda Clinic

Sri Achutananda Clinic is tucked away on Indira Gandhi College Road, specifically in Jaggannath Lane near the Shelter Chhak area. It’s a bit of a specific spot to find if you aren’t from around here, but most of the college students and local residents know the lane well. Shelter Chhak is always a lively intersection with plenty of rickshaws and people moving about. Our clinic is a modest place where we spend our days seeing patients who walk in with all sorts of minor ailments and questions. The lane is narrow, so it stays a bit cooler in the shade of the buildings, which is nice during the hotter months. We’ve got a small waiting area with a few chairs and some old magazines that have been there for ages. The walls are painted a simple color, and we keep the medical supplies tucked away in the cabinets. It is a quiet place compared to the main road outside. We see a lot of familiar faces because people in this neighborhood tend to stay for a long time. The staff knows most of the regulars by name, and we usually have a quick chat before getting down to the medical stuff. It’s not a big fancy medical center, just a local clinic that’s been serving the Jaggannath Lane area for quite a while now. We just open the doors every morning and see who needs a hand with their health.
