General Physician

This is the place for the General Physician located in Berhampur, specifically in the Kakhadi area of the Cuttack district in Orissa. It’s a very local spot. We are out here where things are a bit more rural and quiet. The air is different here than in the big cities. We see a lot of people from the nearby villages. The building is simple and we keep it clean. It has a small waiting area with a few benches. We don’t have any fancy equipment or big glowing signs. Just the basics to help people feel better. The road outside can be quite dusty during the dry season, and then it turns into mud when the rains come. We have a routine. We open the doors early because people like to come before the sun gets too high. There is a small garden out front where we have some hibiscus plants. It makes the place look a bit more welcoming. Most people around here know us by name. We don't use much technology, just a lot of pens and paper. It’s the way things have always been done in Kakhadi. We take our time with everyone. There is no rush. We listen to what they have to say and do what we can. It’s a humble setup, but it’s what we have for the folks around here. We are just glad to be here and helping out where it’s needed. The day ends when the last person leaves.
