Oxford Garments

You can find Oxford Garments on the 2nd floor of Ranimahal in the New Lic Colony area of Badambadi. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Badambadi is a pretty well-known spot, so it’s not too hard to explain to people where we are located. The Ranimahal building has been around for a while. Our workspace isn't very large, but we make the most of the space on the second floor. We spend our days surrounded by thread, needles, and piles of fabric. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with scraps on the floor and half-finished pieces hanging up, but that’s just the reality of making clothes. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. It's mostly just us working through the piles of orders. The light coming in from the windows is good in the mornings, which helps with the detailed work. When the fans are running, it’s not too bad, though the summers in Badambadi can be quite intense. We’ve built a routine here. We start early, get the machines going, and try to get through as much as possible before the sun goes down. It’s a simple life, focused on the task at hand. We don't have any fancy brochures or a marketing team. We just work out of our spot in New Lic Colony and do our best with what we have.
