Lakheswar Food Products Private Limited is based out in Kalpada, which is part of the 42 Mouza area in Cuttack. It is a bit of a trek from the main city, but we like being out here where there is more room to breathe. The address is just at the post office area, so everyone around here knows where to find us. We don’t have a flashy sign or a big gate. It’s just a sturdy building where we get our work done. We handle different kinds of food products, mostly stuff that people buy for their kitchens every day. It’s a small operation. We started it because we wanted something of our own in this part of Cuttack. Some days it is just about managing the inventory and talking to the local shopkeepers who buy from us. We don't use much fancy technology, just the basic stuff that works for a business of our size. The roads around Kalpada can get a bit muddy when it rains, which slows down the delivery vans, but we’ve learned to deal with that over time. We aren’t looking to become some massive corporation. We just want to keep the production going and make sure the people working here have a steady job. It’s a very grounded way of living. We show up early, check the machines, and get to work. That’s our daily routine and it seems to work for us just fine.
