Kothari Cera Tiles

Shiva Bazar is always moving, and we are right in the thick of it on Haripur Road. Kothari Cera Tiles is tucked in between a few other shops, so you have to keep your eyes open or you might walk right past our front door. We have got tiles of all sorts piled up inside the building. It is a bit of a maze sometimes when we get a large delivery. When someone walks in, they usually have a specific color in mind for their home renovation. We do our best to find it in the stacks. The air smells like dust and sometimes the fried snacks from the vendor across the street. We have been here for a good while, and the daily routine has not changed much over the years. I spend a lot of time on the phone checking with suppliers or talking to contractors who need a few extra boxes to finish a job. It is not the kind of place where you will find air conditioning or soft music playing. It is a working shop. The floor is hard concrete, and the walls are covered in samples we have put up over time. Some are a bit old-fashioned now, but people still like them for their backyards. It is funny how trends come and go, but people always need a solid floor under their feet. We keep the doors open all day, and the noise from Haripur Road is just part of the background.
