If you head over to Sriram Nagar in the Madhupattna area of Cuttack, you’ll find us at Plot No-11. That is where Geetanjali Flour Mill is located. It is a noisy place, as you can probably imagine. The sound of the grinding stones and the motors is constant throughout the day. Everything is covered in a thin layer of white dust no matter how much we try to sweep it up. That is just the nature of working with flour. We have been here in Cuttack for a while and the locals know us pretty well. It’s not a big corporate factory. It is a local mill where we spend our time managing the grain and making sure the machines are adjusted right. Sometimes the belts slip or a motor gets too hot, and we have to stop everything to fix it. We don't have a fancy office. Most of the business is done right there on the floor or near the entrance. The air is always thick and it gets very warm in the summer months. We are just a group of people working hard to keep the mill running. There are no big speeches about what we do.
