You can find us over at Chowdhury Niwas, which is right by the Jagannath Petrol Pump on Link Road. It’s a handy spot because everyone knows where the petrol pump is. We’ve been fixing computers and helping people with their tech problems here for a while. The shop is usually full of half-taken-apart laptops and tangled cables. It might look a bit messy to some, but we know where everything is. We didn't start with much, just a few tools and a bit of knowledge about how motherboards work. People bring us their slow computers or broken screens, and we do what we can. Sometimes parts take a while to arrive, which is frustrating for everyone. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s mostly just workbenches and shelves full of spare parts. It’s a noisy street outside, but inside we just focus on the screens. We get all sorts of people coming in—students, office workers, and even grandmas who can't get their tablets to work. We don’t talk in a bunch of technical jargon if we can help it. We just try to explain what’s wrong in plain English so people understand why their machine isn't working right. Link Road stays busy until late, so we are often here after dark finishing up a repair. It’s just how we earn a living. We enjoy the puzzle of it and the feeling when a dead laptop finally turns back on.
