Avis Way Tours & Travels

Avis Way Tours & Travels is located on Pension Lane in the Buxibazar part of Cuttack. We are right near where the old Vijaya Bank used to be. Pension Lane is a bit more tucked away compared to the main roads, but it still gets its fair share of traffic and people. Our office is a plain room where we handle all the tour and travel bookings. We spend our days mostly on the phone or looking at the computer screen to find routes and prices. It’s not a very glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. Buxibazar is a lively place to work, and there’s always something going on nearby. We have a couple of old desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don’t bother with much decor because we are usually too busy with paperwork. People from the area stop by to ask about bus times or to book a car for a wedding or a trip. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. It’s a simple operation run by people who have lived in Cuttack for a long time. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that; we just try to get the tickets booked correctly so there are no problems later. Sometimes we run out of chai or the printer jams, but we just fix it and keep going. It’s just daily life for us here.
