You can find us in Cuttack at Madhusudan Nagar. We’re located at Plot No 1217, right in the Tulasipur area. Shibananda Mohanty is the one who helps keep the place running. We do fashion and styling, but it’s a very hands-on kind of thing. It’s not like those movies where everything is perfectly clean and white. We’ve got measuring tapes everywhere and bits of thread on our clothes. Cuttack is a crowded place, and our street is no different. There’s always someone shouting outside or a bike zooming past. We’ve got a couple of rooms where we do the work. The light is pretty good in the afternoons, which helps with the sewing. We started this because we liked working with clothes. It wasn't some big planned-out corporate strategy. We just had some space and some ideas. Some days are better than others. Sometimes we get the measurements wrong and have to start all over again, which is a pain. But we just get on with it. We don’t spend money on big ads. Usually, people just see our sign or hear about us from a cousin. We’re just a local business trying to do things right in our own way. It’s hard work, but we’re used to it by now. We’ll probably be here for a long time yet, just stitching things together and making sure the styles look good on people.
