Palagaram.Com Private Limited is based in Chidambaram, right on West Car Street at No. 156. If you’ve ever been to Chidambaram, you know that street gets very crowded, especially when there is a temple festival going on. Our building is quite old, like many others around here, but it is sturdy enough for what we do. We focus on snacks and traditional food items. The name Palagaram literally means snacks in Tamil, and that’s exactly what we handle every day. The smell of frying or roasting often drifts out of the doors and into the street. It’s a small operation. We have a few people working here who have been with us for a long time. They know the recipes by heart and don't need to look at instructions. We don't have a high-tech lab or a modern office space. Most of the work is done by hand or with simple tools. The Cuddalore district has a lot of history, and we feel like a small part of the daily life here. Our 608001 address is where all the work happens. Boxes are stacked in every available corner and under the stairs. We spend our days packing up bags of treats and making sure they get to the right people. It’s a lot of counting and checking handwritten lists. We don’t do much advertising. People usually find us because they know the street or heard about us from a friend.
