Pranayi Agri Producer Company Limited. We are located in Chhat Gopalganj Dasgram, which is part of Dinhata. We use Prolay Roy’s place as our base of operations for the company. It’s a quiet part of Koch Bihar, mostly just fields and small houses. We started this company because we wanted to have a better way to manage our crops as a group. Dinhata is a good place for farming but it has its challenges like anywhere else. We spend a lot of time discussing seed varieties and when to plant based on the moon or the clouds. Most of our members are just neighbors who have been farming nearby for years. We don't have a big corporate setup. It’s just us sitting around a table or in the yard, trying to solve problems. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to see how the different plots are doing. The weather in Koch Bihar can be unpredictable, so we try to look out for each other. If one person's crop is struggling, we see if we can help out. It's a very community-driven thing. We keep our paperwork in order at the house in Dasgram. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s honest work. We’re just trying to get a fair price for what we grow and make sure we can keep the farms running. It’s about the daily grind and the satisfaction of a good harvest.
