Nimitya Agricultural Films

We’ve been here on Mahatma Gandhi Road in Jaigaon for a while now. Most people know the spot because it’s easy to find in the Alipurduar district. We handle agricultural films, mostly for the farmers around here who need to cover their crops or manage their soil better. It’s not a fancy office, just a place where we keep the stock and talk to customers who drop by. Sometimes it gets busy when the season changes and everyone needs plastic sheets at once. We just try to keep enough rolls in the back so nobody leaves empty-handed. Dealing with farming supplies means you see a lot of hard-working people coming in and out. The weather here can be a bit much, so these films really help protect the plants. We don't do anything flashy, just sell what’s needed for the local fields. If you walk down MG Road, you’ll see us. We’ve got different types of films depending on what someone is growing. It’s a straightforward job. We spend most of our time unloading trucks or helping someone load a roll onto their vehicle. It’s dusty work but someone has to do it. We know most of our regulars by name. It's just how things are in a place like Jaigaon. We keep the doors open, wait for the next person to come in, and hope the rain doesn't start while we're moving stock around. The building itself is quite old but it does the trick for storing everything we need to keep on hand for the seasons.
