It's been a while since we set up here on School Road. Appanaickenpatti is a quiet spot, and that suits us just fine for running a school. Most days start pretty early when the buses pull in. You can hear the noise from the gate. We’ve got the building at 131A, and it’s basically where everything happens. It isn't a fancy glass tower or anything, just a solid place for kids to spend their time. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise in the afternoon heat, but the kids don't seem to mind much. Coimbatore weather gets a bit dry, so we try to keep the grounds as green as possible. Parents come by often to talk about their kids, usually just stopping by the office without much of a plan. We handle things as they come. There is a lot of paperwork, which gets annoying, but that's part of the job. The teachers here have been around for years, so they know the families in the neighborhood. We aren't trying to change the world overnight, just making sure the students get their lessons done and have a safe place to be until the bell rings. It's a lot of work keeping up with the maintenance, especially with the dust that blows in from the road. But we manage. It’s just how things are run around here. We don't go for anything over the top. It's a school, and we just keep it moving one day at a time.
