Vv Engineers

We’ve been here at Mahalakshmi Layout for a while now. Most people know us around the Gn Mills area because we’ve been working out of this same spot for years. It’s just number 9 on the layout, nothing fancy to look at from the outside, but we keep busy enough. It started out small, and honestly, some days it still feels that way when the orders pile up and the floor gets crowded. We do engineering work, mostly fixing things or making small parts that people need for their machines. It is not the cleanest job in the world. You’ll usually see us with grease on our hands or trying to figure out why a particular piece of metal won't sit right in the lathe. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first moved in. There are more shops now and the traffic near the mills gets a bit heavy around four o’clock every day. We just keep our heads down and get through the day's list. Sometimes the machines act up or the power flickers, but that is just part of being in this line of work. We don't have a big front office with a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us under a lamp or standing by a workbench. It’s a practical space. We drink a lot of tea to stay moving. If the shutter is up, we are working. That is how it has always been for us at Vv Engineers.
