Vibrant Interior Style

We are up on the third floor of the Sai Nilayam building. It’s right there on Building No. 87 on Krishnasamy Road. Being in R. S. Puram means there is always traffic outside, but once you come up the stairs, it’s a bit quieter. We started this because we liked playing around with how rooms look. It’s not like those big design firms you see on TV. We have a lot of samples lying around—fabric pieces, wood chips, and rolls of wallpaper that never seem to stay rolled up properly. My desk is usually covered in hand-drawn sketches and color swatches. People come in to talk about their homes, maybe they want a new cupboard or a different look for their living room. We walk through ideas together. Sometimes it’s hard to decide on a color, so we spend a lot of time looking at different shades of white or grey under different lights. The space here isn't huge, but we make it work with all the catalogs we have. We spend a lot of our time out at work sites too, checking if the carpenters and painters are doing things right. It’s a lot of back and forth between the office and the houses we are working on. We just like making spaces feel a bit better for the families living there. It’s a lot of measuring and re-measuring to make sure everything fits exactly where it should.
