Vgm Hospital

We are over at No. 2100 on Trichy Road, right by the Rajalakshmi Mills bus stop. Having the bus stop so close is actually really helpful because a lot of our staff and patients use it every day to get here. Trichy Road is always humming with activity, and you can see the buses pulling in and out from our front windows. The hospital itself is a place where things are always moving. We have doctors, nurses, and attendants going back and forth through the corridors. It isn't a silent place; there is always the sound of voices, trolleys being pushed, and the hum of the machines. We keep things pretty simple in terms of how the place looks. The focus is more on the rooms and the equipment than on having a fancy lobby. We spend a lot of time making sure everything is clean, which is a never-ending task with so many people coming through. Sometimes the waiting area gets quite full, and people have to stand or lean against the walls while they wait for their turn. We try to get through the appointments as best as we can. Most of us have been working here at this location for years, so we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the traffic on Trichy Road and the schedule of the local buses. It’s just a regular hospital doing its thing day in and day out near the mills stop. We are just here to do the work that needs doing.
