G.Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital

We've been at No. 105 on the second floor here in Coimbatore for quite a while now. Most folks just know us as G.Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital. It gets pretty busy around here, especially in the mornings when people start lining up early. We try to keep things moving. The hallways are usually full of families waiting or staff rushing between rooms. It’s a hospital, so there’s always something happening, whether it’s a check-up or something more serious. We don't have fancy decorations or anything, just the usual medical stuff you'd expect to see. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit of a workout if you don't take the lift. Working in Tamil Nadu, you meet all sorts of people coming in from the city and the nearby areas. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped in the office areas, but we make do with the space we have. Most of the staff live nearby, so we're part of the local scene. It’s not a quiet place, but hospitals rarely are. We just focus on getting through the daily list of patients and making sure the paperwork is filed correctly at the end of the shift. Life here revolves around the shift changes and the lunch breaks we take in turns. It’s honest work, and we just keep at it day after day. No one here is looking for fame, just helping out where they can.
