Veera Super Market

Our market is located right on Vellalar Service Road in Rangapuram, not far from the CSI Church. We have been at number 16 for a long time now. It is a local spot where people from the neighborhood come to pick up their daily groceries and household needs. We aren't like those huge supermarkets where you can get lost in the long aisles. Our space is actually a bit tight, but we try our best to keep everything from rice and dal to soap and snacks on the shelves. Sometimes the delivery trucks arrive late and we end up with boxes sitting in the middle of the floor while we are trying to put things away. It can get a bit chaotic during the evening rush when everyone is coming home from work at the same time. The big fridge for the milk and curd hums loudly in the back corner of the store. I usually stand behind the counter myself, talking to the people who come in every day. We know which kids like which biscuits and who prefers a specific brand of tea leaves. The floor gets a bit scuffed up from all the foot traffic, but we sweep it when we have a quiet moment. We don't do home delivery with an app or anything. People just stop by on their way home. It is a simple business and we like it that way.
