Jancy Farms

Jancy Farms is located at number 74 in Kavanur. If you come visit, you will see it is just a plain farm setting without any of the bells and whistles you might find in a big city business. We spend most of our time outside rather than sitting behind a desk. There is always something to do, whether it is checking on the soil or making sure the irrigation lines are working like they should. Kavanur is a peaceful place most of the time, though harvest season gets pretty hectic around here. We have a small shed where we keep the tools and another area for the paperwork at the main house. It’s a lot of physical labor, and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty worn out. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. Word usually just gets around by people talking to each other in the village. The weather dictates our schedule more than any clock does. If it rains, we change our plans. If it is too hot, we start earlier in the morning. We just try to grow things the right way and keep the farm running at number 74. It’s a simple life, focused on the land and the crops. Sometimes things go well and sometimes they don't, but that is just how farming is. We take the good days with the bad ones and keep going.
