We set up shop at 54, Sivasakthi Nagar in Ondipudhur. This is where we handle all the air blower work. It’s more of a workshop than a store. You’ll find tools and machine parts scattered around the benches. We’ve been working as engineers here for some time, focusing on fixing and maintaining blowers for different local uses. It’s noisy work, but we are used to the sound of the motors running. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is nice when we aren't testing a loud machine. We don't have a big office with a secretary. Usually, I’m the one answering the phone with greasy hands while trying to fix a bearing. People from around Ondipudhur know they can bring their equipment here. We don't use any fancy jargon to explain what's wrong. If it's broken, we tell you how long it takes to fix. We’ve had this same spot for years. The walls are covered in old calendars and technical drawings we’ve made. Sometimes parts take a few days to arrive, so we have machines sitting around waiting. We just take it day by day. It’s just me and a helper most of the time. We aren't looking to become some huge corporation. We just want to keep the machines in the area running like they should. It’s decent work for people who like to use their hands and fix things.
