Unitek Hydraulics

Unitek Hydraulics is based at Sf No. 62/1 on Athipalayam Road. We are in the Sambaraya Thottam area of Chinnavedampatty, which is a bit of an industrial pocket. Our workshop is where we deal with all things hydraulic, from cylinders to pumps and valves. It’s a heavy kind of work, and everything we touch is usually coated in a thin layer of hydraulic oil. We have workbenches that have seen a lot of use over the years, and the floor has its share of stains. We don't have a fancy reception area or a polished floor. Instead, we have tools, pressure gauges, and the sound of machines running. Customers bring us their broken equipment, and we take it apart to see which seal has blown or which rod is bent. It’s hot work, especially in the middle of the day, but that’s just the nature of a workshop like this. We know the local guys who run the trucks and the factory machines around Chinnavedampatty. Most of our business comes from people who just know we are here on Athipalayam Road. We don't spend money on big advertisements; we just rely on the fact that we can fix things that other people can’t. It’s a bit messy and the air smells like metal and oil, but it’s what we do. We just keep the doors open and get on with the repairs as they come in. We’ve been here a good while now.
