This is my small setup here on Narayana Guru Road in Coimbatore. I’m right near KTVR Hospitals, which most people in Saibaba Colony know pretty well. It’s not a big school or a center with lots of staff. It’s mostly just me working from this space at number 61 1. I started doing this because I saw a lot of students in the area needing a bit of extra help that they weren't getting in their regular classes. The room is quite simple, containing just a few desks, some chairs, and my collection of reference books that I’ve gathered over the years. Walking from the main road takes a few minutes, but it’s worth it because it’s much quieter here. I don't really do much advertising. Usually, a parent will talk to another parent at the grocery store or the hospital, and then they call me. It’s a very local way of doing things. I keep my hours flexible because families have busy lives. Sometimes I’m here late, sometimes I start early. It’s a lot of one-on-one work, looking at notebooks and figuring out where a student is getting stuck. I don't use any special software or anything. We just use paper and pens. It’s worked well so far for the kids who come by. It’s just a practical, honest way to help out the neighborhood students with their daily school work.
