East West Trading Company

East West Trading Company is over at No. 15 L. M. R. Street, near the Town Hall. It’s an old part of the city, and our building has that lived-in feel to it. We’ve been trading from this location for quite some time. The street is narrow and always packed with carts and people moving goods back and forth. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and desks piled with ledgers and invoices. We deal with a lot of different items, so you never really know what’s going to be in the warehouse from one week to the next. It’s a bit chaotic, but we have a system that works for us. The staff here has been around for years, and we all know the routine. We don't go in for anything too modern or flashy. The fans hum on the ceiling and we just get through the orders as they come in. Being near Town Hall means we are right in the middle of the local trade scene. You hear the gossip from other traders and keep track of how prices are moving. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We open up early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool and stay until the last delivery is sorted. It’s a traditional way of doing business, based on just being here and doing what we said we’d do.
