Glaxo Plast

Irugur is where we are based specifically at No. 14/3- B on Madurai Veeran Koil Street. We are tucked away in Naikar Thootam. Glaxo Plast is basically a factory where we work with plastic stuff all day. It is not the cleanest environment because there is always some scrap or material being moved around. The machines are old but they still run well enough to get the jobs finished. We have the temple nearby so we hear the bells and the prayers sometimes while we are working. It is a strange mix of industrial noise and local life. We don't have a sales team or anything like that. People just know we are here and they bring us their requirements. Some days the heat is really bad and we have to take more breaks than usual. We have a small crew and most of us live close by so we just walk to work. The street is narrow and sometimes the trucks have a hard time backing in to load up the finished goods. We have to help guide them so they don't hit the walls. It is just the way things are here. We make the plastic parts and keep the machines going as long as they let us. It is a simple operation without any big corporate drama. We just focus on the task at hand and go home when the shift is done. It is hard work but it pays the bills.
