We have been sitting here at 354 Kumaran Road for a good while now. Anupurpalayam is a busy part of town, and there is always something going on outside our door. Most days start with opening up the shutters and seeing who is already walking by. We do a lot of work with signs and paper, mostly just getting things done for people who drop in. It gets dusty sometimes because of the traffic on the main road, but that is just how it is here. Usually, one of us is out back dealing with the machines while someone else stays up front to talk to whoever walks in. It isn’t a fancy setup. We have a few desks and some old chairs for people to wait in. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit and wait it out with some tea from the stall nearby. People know where to find us because we’ve been in this spot for years. We don’t really do much in the way of big shouting about what we do. If someone needs something printed or designed, they just come by and we see if we can help them out. It’s a simple way to run things, but it works for us and the people in the neighborhood. We keep the files in some old metal cabinets and try to stay organized, even when it gets hectic during the festive seasons when everyone wants things done at once.
