The Chendur Sarees

We've been over here at Balaguru Garden for a while now. It’s a quiet spot in Peelamedu, but people find us anyway when they need a new saree. Usually, it's just us sorting through stacks of fabric and trying to keep everything organized. Sometimes the shop gets a bit messy during wedding season because there are so many boxes coming in. We don't really do anything fancy here. It's just a regular place where we sell sarees. We spend a lot of time checking the borders and making sure the colors look right under the lights. It's mostly family members working here. My uncle started this place, and we just kept it going. We know most of the neighbors. Sometimes people stop by just to chat for a bit, which is nice. We aren't really on social media much because we're too busy with the actual work. If you're looking for us, we’re at 473/2F. It's easy to miss if you aren't looking closely. We try to have a good variety, but sometimes we run out of the popular stuff pretty fast. It’s just how it goes in a small shop like this. We handle everything ourselves, from opening up in the morning to locking the gates at night. There’s always dust to wipe off the shelves. It’s not a big corporate showroom, just a local spot where we deal in silk and cotton. We just do our work every day and hope for the best.
