Srutah Exports

We’re located at No. 9/16-G on Mettupalayam Road. It's right in the N. S. N. Palayam area. Srutah Exports is basically just a small warehouse and a side office where we keep the records. The building is older, but it does the job. We have stacks of crates everywhere. Most days we are just checking inventory and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly. Mettupalayam Road is always loud with traffic, so we have to yell a bit to hear each other. It’s a lot of manual work. We check the labels, count the boxes, and sign the papers. Sometimes we get shipments that are late, and that throws the whole day off. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back moving things around or sitting at the old wooden desk trying to fix the printer. It’s a bit messy with tape and packing paper all over the floor. We’ve been in this spot for a few years now. The weather gets really hot in the afternoons, so the fans are always going full blast. We just focus on the task at hand. It's not a glamorous business. We deal with a lot of different products depending on what the clients need. We just try to stay on top of the paperwork so nothing gets stuck at the port. The floor is concrete and has some cracks where we’ve dropped heavy stuff over the years. We keep a stash of biscuits in the desk drawer for when the afternoon slump hits. The ceiling fans make a clicking sound that you stop noticing after ten minutes.
