Inside, you’ll find heaps of fabric and the sound of work going on from early morning. Most of us living nearby just walk or ride our bikes here. The street is a bit quiet compared to the main road, but we like it that way. There is always a lot to do, from sorting the silk to checking the colors. We don't use a lot of big words or fancy talk. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized. Sometimes the orders get a bit piled up, and we have to work a little faster. It gets quite warm in the afternoon, so we usually have the fans on full blast. The tea man comes around twice a day, and that’s a highlight for everyone. We’ve been at this address for a while and the neighbors know us. It’s just a regular, hard-working environment.
