Sri Salanbu Academy

We are located on the second floor of the S S Complex, which is right in Vadavalli. If you are standing near the bus stand, just look across towards where the Nilgiris shop is, and you will see us. Being on the second floor means there are a good number of stairs to climb every day, but it keeps us moving. The view from the balcony looks out over the main road, so you can see the buses coming and going all day long. It is a bit quieter up here than down on the pavement. We have a few rooms set up for different groups. Vadavalli has grown so much lately, and there are always new people moving into the area. Most of our students live within walking distance or take a short bus ride. We keep things pretty organized, with schedules taped to the doors and benches lined up. It gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, so we are always cleaning the tables. The atmosphere is just like a regular home most of the time. We don't use any big fancy equipment, just whiteboards and markers. Sometimes when it rains, the sound on the roof of the complex is quite loud. People usually pop in to ask questions while they are out doing their grocery shopping at Nilgiris. It is a convenient spot for most families around here.
