Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Maruthi College Of Physical Education

Our college, the Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Maruthi College Of Physical Education, is located out in Vattamalaipalayam. Specifically, we are near the N.G.G.O Colony Post within the larger Sri Ramakrishna Campus in Coimbatore. It is quite a quiet spot in Tamil Nadu 641022. Because we focus on physical education, the place is full of sports fields and open spaces. You can see students training outside most of the day. They wear their sports kits and follow a pretty strict schedule. The buildings themselves have been here for a long time and look very solid. We have some trees that give shade when the sun is out, which is most days in Coimbatore. Inside the classrooms, we talk about the theory of sports and health, but the real work happens on the ground. There isn't any fancy modern art or big glass walls here. It is just a place for people who want to be physical instructors or athletes. We have been part of the mission for years. The atmosphere is very disciplined but friendly. People come from different parts of the state to study here. We have a routine that starts early in the morning with drills. It’s a very practical environment. The air is better here than in the middle of the city. We keep the equipment in the sheds and the registers in the small office. It is a very dedicated place for sports.
