If you find Rammu Hardware on Nallampalayam Road, you’ll find us right nearby at No 74A/4. Sri Pramasakthi Provision Store is our small family business here in the Ganapathy area. We sell pulses, rice, oils, and all the usual groceries that people need for their kitchens. The shop is on Annaiappan Street, which isn't too wide, so it stays a bit quieter than the main road nearby. We’ve lived in Coimbatore all our lives. Running this store means we get to talk to all our neighbors every day. We keep things in big sacks and weigh them out as needed for each customer. It’s a lot of lifting and carrying heavy bags. Sometimes the delivery trucks have trouble backing into the narrow street, but we manage to get the goods unloaded. We don’t have any computers here; we still use a paper notebook for our daily accounts. It works fine for us. The shop stays relatively cool because of the high ceiling, even in the middle of summer. We keep the front open so people can see we’re here. It’s not a supermarket, just a place where you can get exactly how much you need. We try to keep the prices fair for everyone. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years and years. It’s a friendly place, and we usually have time for a quick chat while we’re packing up the groceries into bags.
