Our business is set up at No. 87-90 in the V.K.R. Thottam area of K.P.N. Colony. It is a series of units where we handle all our operations. K.P.N. Colony is a place with a lot of small industries and warehouses, so there is always a lot of movement of goods and big trucks. Our space is spread across these few numbers, giving us enough room to store things and have a small corner for the daily office work. It gets quite loud during the day with all the activity happening in the Thottam. We don't have a fancy showroom or a place for guests to sit and wait. It is a working site where we spend most of our time checking stocks and moving boxes. The floors are concrete and the walls are just painted a plain color. We have a few fans going to keep the heat down because it can get very warm in the afternoons here. Most people who come here are drivers or people picking up orders, so it is a very practical and basic environment. We don't use a lot of complicated systems, just pen and paper and a couple of computers to keep track of what comes in and goes out each day. It is a long day usually, starting early and staying until the last load is ready. The neighborhood is mostly other people doing the same kind of hard work in their own units.
