Sri Kumaran Stores

Sri Kumaran Stores is right at 98 Anna Nagar, and you can find us directly opposite the CK School. Being across from a school means our days are timed by the bells. In the morning, it's a rush of parents and kids, and then it gets quiet for a few hours until lunch time comes around. We carry a lot of different things that the local families need for their daily lives. The shop at number 98 isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. You’ll see stacks of goods near the entrance and maybe some crates sitting on the sidewalk if we just got a delivery from the truck. We don't put a lot of effort into making things look perfect for a photo. It is a working store. We spend our time checking inventory and talking to whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the school kids come in for small snacks or pens, and we have to keep an eye on the energy levels in the shop. It is a lively spot because of the location. Anna Nagar is a busy part of the neighborhood, and being right across from CK School keeps us right in the middle of everything. We are just local people running a local business. We don’t have a big corporate plan, we just want to make sure the shelves aren't empty when someone comes in. It’s just a normal day here.
