Soilfit Agriscience is based in Urumandampalayam. Our address is on Uzhaipalar Street, just off Vellakinar Road. It’s a quiet enough area most days. We focus on soil and science, like the name suggests. We think the soil is the most important part of farming. We spend a lot of time looking at it and trying to understand it better. We have a small lab setup in our building at No 375/2A-1. It's not a giant facility, but it gets the job done for us. We're just a bunch of people who care about how things grow. We aren't looking to become some massive multinational. We like being small and knowing exactly what’s going on. We talk to farmers around the 641029 area quite a bit. They come by with questions or just to chat. We try to give them straight answers. There’s no point in using big words if they don't help anyone. We keep our language simple and our work honest. The office can get a bit cluttered with samples and dirt, but that’s fine. It shows we’re actually doing something. We've been here for a while and plan to stay. It’s a good community to be a part of. We just take it one day at a time. It’s a lot of testing and re-testing to get things right for the local land. We just want the plants to grow well.
