Software Engineer

I've been working from this spot on Palamalai Road for a while now. Sri Ram Nagar is a decent place to be. It's usually quiet enough to get some actual thinking done, though the traffic near P.N.Palayam gets a bit much around five. I started doing this because I liked how code worked. It wasn’t about some big dream, just fixing things that didn't run right. Most days I’m just sitting at the desk with a cup of tea, looking at screens. People from around here sometimes drop by with questions about their computers. I try to help out when I can. It’s not a big corporate setup. It’s just me and a couple of old monitors. Sometimes the power goes out, and I just take a walk down the road. It gives the eyes a break. Coimbatore is changing fast, but this little corner feels the same. I don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find me in a t-shirt trying to figure out why a database isn’t connecting. It’s honest work. I don't mind the long hours as long as the internet stays stable. You get used to the hum of the fan and the sound of the birds outside. It’s a good life, even if coding gets frustrating when a semicolon is missing. Just doing my bit here in the neighborhood.
