Skumars Rubber Products is run from 10, Lakshmi Illam, right on Lakshmi Nagar 2nd Street. It’s a quiet enough area in Sanganoor, just off Nalampalayam Road. We’ve been working with rubber products here for quite a while. The setup is simple. We have our workspace where we handle the orders and keep the stock. It’s not a massive factory or anything, just a local spot where we get things done. Most of our day is spent handling the materials and making sure the measurements are right. Rubber can be tricky to work with if you don't pay attention. We often have the radio playing in the background while we work. It helps the time go by during the more repetitive tasks. The neighborhood knows us as the rubber guys on the second street. We get a lot of local walk-ins and phone calls from people looking for specific parts. Sometimes we don't have exactly what they need, but we try to point them in the right direction. The office is just a desk with a lot of catalogs and a computer that’s a bit slow. We don't mind the pace of things here in Sanganoor. It feels like home. We’ve got a small team, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s packing boxes or cleaning up the scraps at the end of the day. It’s just us, working hard in our little corner of Lakshmi Nagar. We keep it simple and focus on the daily tasks.
