Shykar Engineers

Shykar Engineers is located over at 351, Ponni Nagar in P.N. Palayam. It’s more of a workshop environment than anything else. We focus on engineering tasks, which means there’s usually the sound of machinery or tools going in the background. It’s a practical place. We don't have a lobby with fancy chairs. Mostly, it’s just workbenches, equipment, and a small area for us to sit and go over drawings or plans. We’ve been in the P.N. Palayam area for quite some time, and the locals know us pretty well. A lot of our work comes from word of mouth. Someone needs a part fixed or a small project done, and they come find us in Ponni Nagar. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. If we can do the job, we say so. The tea stall down the road is where we usually get our afternoon break. It’s a good time to step away from the noise of the workshop for a few minutes. We don't have a big corporate structure here. It’s just a small group of us trying to make sure every part we work on is done right. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought it would, and we end up staying after dark to finish it up. The neighbors in Ponni Nagar don't seem to mind the occasional sound of a grinder. It’s a working-class area, and people understand what it takes to get things done. We don't have any brochures. If you need something fixed, you just come talk to us.
