Sew Engineers

Sew Engineers operates out of Plot No. 7 in Maanikkam Nagar, which is part of the Periya Thottam area. It is a straightforward engineering setup. We don't go in for anything flashy. The workshop has the tools we need to get through the daily list of jobs. Most of what we do involves technical fixes and small-scale fabrication. Maanikkam Nagar is a decent place to be based, mostly because it's accessible for our workers and people coming by with parts. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints or fixing bits of machinery that have stopped working. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or oil, but that is how a real shop looks. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It is just a handful of us who know the trade. We have been in Periya Thottam for a while, so the neighbors know what we do. It can be loud when the machines are running, but we try to keep it down during the off-hours. We just take the work as it comes and try to do a decent job of it. No big speeches, just engineering. If you come by, you'll likely find us in the middle of a project, grease on our hands and all. It is hard work but it pays the bills for us and keeps the machines running.
