Selvaganapathy & Company

You can find Selvaganapathy & Company at 230-1, V. K. Road in Peelamedu. We have been operating out of this building for many years. It is an old structure, but it serves its purpose for our daily work. We deal with various goods, mostly supplying smaller local shops in the surrounding area. The office is usually cluttered with papers, ledgers, and various samples we have collected. We don't have a big team, just a handful of us who know how everything works. V. K. Road can get quite noisy with the heavy buses passing by, but we have grown used to the sound. We start our day early, usually around eight, to get a head start on the orders. There isn't much decoration on the walls, just a calendar and some notes tacked up with tape. We use an old ceiling fan that wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving during the heat. It is a straightforward business. We talk to our suppliers, take orders over the phone, and get things shipped out. We don't use any complicated software to run the place. It is all done with notebooks and calculators. Peelamedu is a busy part of town, and we fit right in. We don't try to be anything we are not. It is just a place where work happens every day. Sometimes we stay late to finish the accounts, but mostly we head home.
