S S S Traders

S S S Traders is located at 56 Moorarpalayam. Our place is right next to the Sri Ezhumalayan Lathe Works. You can usually hear the sound of their machines through our walls, but we’ve gotten used to it. We are traders, so our space is often filled with all sorts of things waiting to be sold or moved. It’s not a very big place, so it can get a bit cramped when a new shipment comes in. We have a small desk near the door where we handle the accounts and talk to anyone who walks in. The neighborhood is a mix of small shops and houses. We’ve been here for quite some time and we know most of the other shop owners on the street. It’s a very local atmosphere. We don’t have any marketing brochures or a fancy corporate office. It’s just a place where we do business every day. Sometimes we sit outside on the bench when it’s quiet and watch the people go by. Our work involves a lot of phone calls and checking on deliveries. We don’t have a huge staff, just a couple of us who know the ropes. It can be a bit chaotic on busy days, but we usually manage to keep things under control. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We just open the shutters in the morning and see what the day brings. No big plans, just regular trade.
