Richmond Hospital

We are located at 1287 trichy road. It is a long road and we sit right in the middle of a lot of activity. The hospital stays open pretty late most nights. You’ll see the nurses in their scrubs walking around the front desk area quite a bit. We have a pharmacy section where people pick up their medicine before heading home. The lighting inside is that bright white kind you find in most medical buildings. It makes the place feel clean. There is a small area where families can sit and talk. We try to keep the noise down inside, but with the doors opening and closing, you can always hear the street sounds. Most of our patients come from the surrounding neighborhoods. We know a lot of them by name because they’ve been coming here for years. It’s a straightforward setup. No waterfalls in the lobby or anything like that. Just desks, beds, and medical equipment. Sometimes the coffee machine in the corner acts up, so we just walk to the stall down the street to get something to drink. The doctors here are usually busy running from one room to another. It’s a steady pace of work. We keep the files organized in those big metal cabinets behind the reception. Everything is pretty much where you’d expect it to be in a local hospital. It feels lived in. We spend our days checking charts and making sure the supplies are stocked up in the cupboards for the next shift.
