Richmond Hospital

Richmond Hospital is right on 1287 Trichy Road, which most locals know is a pretty busy part of town. We’ve been operating out of this building for some time now. If you’re driving by, you probably notice the traffic can get a bit backed up right in front of our entrance, especially during the morning rush. Inside, the place feels like a standard hospital. There are hallways that lead to different wards and some small offices where the doctors sit. The chairs in the waiting room aren't the newest, but they do the job for people waiting on their appointments. We see a lot of different faces every day. Some people are just here for a quick checkup, while others stay a bit longer. Our staff usually brings their lunch from home and eats in the back breakroom. It’s a bit noisy because of the vehicles outside, but you get used to it after a few hours. We don’t have any big fancy signs inside, just some notices taped to the walls about visiting hours. The floors get mopped every couple of hours to keep things tidy. It’s mostly just a bunch of people working hard to make sure patients are looked after. Sometimes the elevator is a bit slow, so a lot of us just take the stairs to get between floors faster. We have a small pharmacy window where people stand in line to get their prescriptions filled before they head out to their cars. It’s a plain, functional place that serves the people around here.
