We’ve been at 61 in the Premier Industrial Estate for a good while now. It’s a busy spot over here in K.R. Puram, Ganapathy, always something going on with the neighbors. Most days start pretty early because that’s just how the work goes with precision parts. You get used to the sound of the machines running and the smell of the shop floor. It isn’t always quiet, but we like being in this part of town. Sometimes the traffic getting into Ganapathy is a bit much, but we manage. People know where to find us if they need something specific made or looked at. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s mostly just the workspace and where we keep the materials. We spend a lot of time checking measurements and making sure the tools are set up right. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and focusing on small details that most people wouldn’t even notice. We just get on with the jobs as they come in. Some days are faster than others depending on what’s on the schedule. If you walk through the estate, you’ll see us there just doing what we do every day. It’s practical work and it keeps us occupied from morning until we close up the shutters. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do here. We keep the machines oiled and the floor swept as best we can.
