Poppy Home Care Products is right here on Periyandan Kovil Street at number 24. We spend most of our mornings just moving boxes around and making sure the floor is somewhat clean before the heat gets too bad in the afternoon. It is a busy little spot and sometimes the noise from the street makes it hard to hear the phone when it rings. We have been here for a while now and most people in the neighborhood know the building. The shelves are usually full of different cleaning supplies and things for the house. It isn't a fancy place by any means but it works for what we do. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a bit of trouble parking because the street gets crowded with people going to the temple nearby. We usually just step outside for a bit of air when things get quiet. There is always a lot of dust that comes in from the road so we are constantly wiping things down. It’s just us here doing the daily work of sorting through stock and getting things ready for whoever needs them. Nothing much changes from day to day but we keep at it. Some days are faster than others and we just try to keep up with the list of things that need doing before the sun goes down and we can finally lock up the front gate for the night.
