J. P. L. Agrotech

You can find J. P. L. Agrotech over at the 25th Vasanth Plaza, which is on M. G. M. Road in Pollachi. We are not out in a field like a traditional farm. Instead, we operate from a standard office suite inside the plaza. It is a bit of a different setup because we focus more on the technical side and the supply of agricultural products. The office is usually pretty cluttered with stacks of brochures, product samples, and various manuals. We have a couple of older computers that always seem to be running a bit slow when we need them most. Pollachi is a busy, bustling town, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise right outside our door. We get quite a few farmers dropping by to see us while they are in town doing their other errands. We spend a lot of time discussing things like irrigation systems or soil health over a simple cup of tea. It is definitely not a corporate environment here. We wear our regular everyday clothes and talk like normal people do. We do not even have a dedicated receptionist. If the telephone rings, whoever happens to be closest to it will pick it up and answer. We have been in this plaza for a while now, and we have become friends with most of the other shop owners nearby. It is a very practical and local way to run a business. We help people figure out what equipment might help them.
