Plato'S Academy Matriculation Higer Secondary School

Tirupur is always a busy place and Mangalam Road is usually packed with traffic. Our school, Plato'S Academy Matriculation Higer Secondary School, is right there in the Periyandipalam area. We have been here for a good while now. Students arrive every morning on cycles or in those yellow buses you see everywhere. It is a Matriculation Higher Secondary setup, so we have the older kids as well as the younger ones. The morning assembly starts when the sun is already getting warm over Periyandipalayam. People around here know us well. The building is a standard one with enough rooms for all the classes. We do not have those fancy gardens you see in those expensive magazines. It is just classrooms and a patch of ground for the kids to run around during their breaks. Most of the teachers live in the neighborhood. We keep things simple because that is what works. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it a bit of a headache when parents come to drop their children off. The school runs until the afternoon and then everyone heads home. Dealing with the older students takes a lot of patience. We have the usual labs and subjects. You can find us easily if you know the local landmarks. The walls could probably use a bit of new paint but the fans work and the kids are learning. That is what really matters in this heat. It is just a regular school day here.
