Our spot is right on Head Quarters Road in Uppilipalayam. It’s actually quite easy to find since we are just opposite that Cls Book Shop. People use the book shop as a landmark when they are coming to see us for the first time. We focus on environmental engineering work, which basically means a lot of paperwork and looking at water or waste systems. It’s not the kind of thing you talk about at dinner, but it stays steady. The traffic outside can get really loud during the morning rush, so we usually keep the windows shut. The office is at No. 1. It’s a simple setup with enough room for our desks and a few filing cabinets that are probably too full. We spend a lot of time out at sites too, so the office is often empty except for one or two people answering the phone. It’s been this way for a few years now. We aren't trying to grow into some huge corporation. We just like doing the work we know how to do. Sometimes the tech side of things changes fast and we have to catch up, but that’s just how it goes in this field. If you drop by, you might catch us having tea. We take our breaks seriously because the work can get a bit dry after a few hours of looking at charts and diagrams. We've got a small team here, and most of us have lived in the area for a long time.
