Parvathy Engineering

Our workshop is located at 57 Sanganoor Main Road in Ganapathy. Parvathy Engineering has been running from this spot for a good while. It is a busy road, and there is always some noise from the machines or the traffic passing by outside. We spend our days mostly covered in a bit of grease and oil because that’s just the nature of the work we do. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially when all the machines are running at the same time. We have a small group of workers who are local to this part of Coimbatore. They come in early, have their tea, and then get started on the lathes or whatever needs fixing that day. We don't really have a fancy waiting area or anything like that. If someone comes to see us, they usually just stand in the doorway or find a stool near the workbench. It’s an old building, so it has its quirks, like the lights flickering sometimes or the floor being a bit uneven in the back. We just focus on getting the measurements right and finishing the jobs people bring to us. It isn't glamorous work, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. Most of our tools have been with us for years, and we know exactly how each one sounds when it is working right. That’s just how we do things here.
