Palaniappa Realty Private Limited is located at C 11 New Kannappan Nagar. We are in K Pichampatti, near the VAO office in Karur, though our registration mentions Chennai too. Being near the VAO office is actually quite helpful because a lot of property work involves that department anyway. The neighborhood is called New Kannappan Nagar. It is a bit of a walk from the main road. Our office is pretty basic. We have a couple of tables and some plastic chairs. We spend a lot of time talking to local folks about their land and what they want to do with it. Karur is a place where everyone kind of knows everyone else, so word gets around. We don't really do much advertising. People just find us through friends or by walking past the office. The sun gets really bright in this part of Tamil Nadu, so we usually keep the blinds down during the day. We handle the paperwork for sales and help people figure out the boundaries of their plots. It is a lot of physical work sometimes, going out into the fields or standing around on dusty lots. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is necessary for folks here. We just keep at it every day, making sure the records are straight and the clients are satisfied with the details. We just do the work and go home.
